Job Summary
Senior Production Planner based in Hialeah, FL, responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability; prioritizing and sequencing production orders to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency; adjusting schedules as needed due to demand changes or disruptions; monitoring schedule performance and communicating risks, changes, and recovery plans to stakeholders. Manages material, component, and resource requirements, collaborates with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Warehouse to ensure material availability, monitors inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock, and supports continuous improvement of planning processes. Evaluates labor, equipment, and capacity to identify constraints and bottlenecks; collaborates with multiple functions to resolve delays and optimize throughput. Analyzes production data and reports on key metrics, leads or supports planning meetings, and provides guidance to the planning team. Requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of ERP/MRP, Excel skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience required
- Fluent in English, oral and written; bilingual English/Spanish required
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, material planning, inventory control, and capacity planning
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and influence team members and cross-functional partners
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Advanced Excel skills
