Job Summary
Develop and maintain the master production schedule to drive manufacturing schedules and procurement, incorporating labor and machine capacities while analyzing data to resolve inventory and material shortage issues. Conduct capacity and inventory scenario analyses, create SMT schedules, and release weekly work orders to optimize kitting workflow. Lead daily production meetings, coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering, and expedite material kits through the MRB function to ensure on-time delivery. Provide direction to the Closed Loop Team on demand changes and supply actions, monitor schedule adherence, and update sales and management on commitment dates. This fully on-site role requires overtime during month-end and fiscal year closures.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- 10 years direct experience
- 10-15 years direct production planning experience
- Extensive experience as a Production Planner in a Manufacturing environment
- Senior level Planning knowledge
- thorough understanding of Capacity Planning Principles
- Thorough understanding of major MRP systems
- Epicor
- SAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to read a multilevel BOM

- Familiarity with outside processing
- U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to work OT as required on month end/quarter end/fiscal year end

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing
- Experience with electronics manufacturing

- Current APICS or ISM Certification
- Direct experience working in an AS9100 & ITAR environment
