Job Summary
Senior Product Owner role focused on cross-functional collaboration to deliver fintech solutions for order execution systems. Translate business objectives into prioritized backlogs, lead an Agile team, manage delivery KPIs (velocity, release predictability, defect rates, time-to-market), ensure governance and security standards, utilize AI tools to accelerate storytelling and documentation, operate within a SAFe Agile framework, own product lifecycle from conception through release, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with QA and market insights to identify opportunities and deliver high-quality trading products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in brokerage, trading, or capital markets technology with hands-on experience defining requirements for order execution, risk management, or trading infrastructure
- Experience with real-time trading systems, order routing, and margining systems
- Experience with distributed teams
- Experience with trading platforms
- Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
- A team player who can work flexible hours
- Innovation oriented
- Deep familiarity with distributed event driven streaming architectures and real-time data processing patterns
- Knowledge of equity, futures, options trading products (preferred)
- Experience with projects utilizing a cloud provider such as AWS (preferred)
