Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for PAN-OS Product Security and Lifecycle Management. Own the platform security roadmap across PAN-OS deployments (physical, virtual, cloud) and lead lifecycle governance including upgrade management, version adoption, and End-of-Life strategies. Drive defense against emerging AI threats through secure-by-design principles embedded in the product lifecycle, balancing strong security with usability. Collaborate with Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager teams to streamline patching and software upgrades, and implement telemetry and tools to empower customers and field teams to maintain a healthy, secure fleet. Bring expertise in threat modeling, secure development practices, vulnerability management, Linux security, and enterprise networking to shape product decisions and governance. Preferred familiarity with PAN-OS NGFW architectures and prior product management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in a highly technical role such as software development, product security, release management, or systems engineering
- Core Security Concepts: threat modeling, encryption standards, IAM, RBAC
- Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, SAST/DAST tooling
- Linux architecture and security hardening (secure boot, SELinux, IMA)
- Experience with vulnerability management and coordinating with threat researchers
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to interface with engineering, security, field teams, and customers
