Job Summary
Sr. Product Manager responsible for developing the DEWALT ConTech Connectivity & Network Strategy and leading roadmapping for connected tools. Drive end-to-end product planning, collaborate with engineering to ensure feasibility, conduct VOC through regular site visits, and support NPD programs for integrated TOOL CONNECT+ initiatives. Roles include cross-functional leadership, delivering user-focused requirements, guiding connectivity and network strategy, and presenting updates in leadership forums (MBR, launch readiness). Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s preferred), IoT/embedded devices experience, hardware-software development understanding, cybersecurity awareness, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps; hybrid role based in Towson, MD with remote options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or connected devices space
- Strong understanding of hardware and embedded software development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations for connected devices
- Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity and business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
- Comfort on commercial construction sites and experience using power tools
