Job Summary
Own a defined AI capability area across Capella and Couchbase Enterprise, driving end-to-end execution from PRFAQ and PRD authorship to launch and adoption. Validate requirements with named enterprise customers to make clear tradeoff decisions, then partner closely with engineering to own the PRD as a living document and ship capabilities with measurable impact. Support design partner programs, equip sales and GTM with positioning and competitive context, and contribute as the product owner in customer briefings and analyst engagements. Leverage AI deeply in your own practice for research, customer synthesis, and roadmap modeling while mentoring early-career PMs.
Required Qualifications
- Seven or more years in product management
- At least three years on a technical platform
- Technical fluency in modern AI infrastructure
- Customer obsession and working-backwards rigor
- Engineering credibility
- Cross-functional trust
- AI-driven PM practice
- Frontier-model experience
- Strong written communication
- A shipping record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at a database, data platform, or AI infrastructure company
- Direct experience building or shipping vector search, agent memory, RAG pipelines, model serving, or related AI infrastructure capabilities
- Public presence
- Prior experience mentoring associate or early-career PMs
- Familiarity with Anthropic's Claude stack
