Job Summary
Design and develop the next-generation data delivery platform on Google Cloud Platform to support Schwab's advisor community and institutional clients. Lead product development efforts that drive highly scalable solutions, improve data availability, and accelerate time-to-market for new capabilities. Formulate the platform vision, roadmap, and strategy while collaborating cross-functionally with technology, design, and compliance teams to define release requirements. Champion Agile methodologies through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization. Serve as the subject matter specialist and evangelist to partners, delivering self-service data customizations and ad-hoc reporting. Create and maintain key performance metrics to ensure a performant, scalable future state. Work horizontally for cross-enterprise integration opportunities that enhance the overall client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years product management experience
- Strategic problem solver who can formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to meaningful roadmaps and results
- Solid understanding and experience developing digital platforms, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emerging
- Strong ability to translate technology to business partners
- Highly organized, outstanding attention to detail, and ability to set and balance to deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
- Experienced knowledge with Microsoft Office Products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel; ability to 'tell a story' using Powerpoint
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of a digital platform
- Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams with a deep understanding of agile

- Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple project results
- Good understanding and/or experience with financial services
