Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for 3D web development focusing on ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to champion the developer community and evangelize ArcGIS capabilities for creating compelling 3D web mapping apps. Responsible for identifying, synthesizing, and prioritizing customer and partner requirements, driving the product vision and technical roadmap, and influencing SDK development. Will engage with customers and partners, align roadmap with platform goals, collaborate with other product managers, conduct market research, evangelize capabilities at conferences and webinars, establish feedback loops with developers, contribute to go-to-market planning, and manage partner relationships. Requires strong background in product management, web development, and 3D GIS concepts, with travel up to 20% and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, GIS, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in geospatial or mapping technology
- Proficiency in web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with 3D technology for visualization, GIS, or infrastructure planning
- Skilled in presenting and building strategic relationships with customers and partners
- Effective communication of market requirements to technical staff
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills for data, market trends, and user feedback analysis
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events
