Job Summary
Sr. Consumer Insights Manager focused on Starlink growth — owning end-to-end consumer journey understanding, experimentation, and funnel optimization from discovery to activation. Drives actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research, builds personas and journey maps, leads high-velocity A/B testing and experimentation roadmaps, and collaborates with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to translate insights into landing pages, pre-purchase education content, and checkout experiences. Responsible for improving Starlink.com acquisition, conversion, and revenue metrics globally, with a hybrid work arrangement and ITAR considerations. Willingness to travel to customer sites and SpaceX locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of cumulative work/internship experience in consumer insights, market research, growth experimentation, A/B testing, and driving conversion metrics
- 10+ year of hands-on experience leading consumer research and insights programs (experience in consumer tech, e-commerce, or subscription businesses strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated success running and analyzing large-scale A/B tests and experiments
- Advanced SQL skills and experience building funnel dashboards; Python experience is a plus

- Ability to influence cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations)
- Experience with data visualization and dashboards (SQL + visualization tools)
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, SpaceX locations, and events as needed
- ITAR requirements knowledge or ability to comply
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with A/B testing methodology and experimentation roadmaps
- Experience with landing pages optimization and pre-purchase education content
- Ability to translate qualitative insights into actionable product and funnel changes
- Experience working in lean teams in early to growth-stage startups
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Technical background or collaboration with engineers/designers on web product development
- Experience with global direct-to-consumer growth programs
- Storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
