Job Summary
Senior Product Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and managing product lifecycle activities from concept through production and end-of-life. Work with cross-functional teams (design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, marketing) to ensure product alignment with customer specs, drive prototypes (including third-party vendors), perform design verification, recommend design changes to improve performance and reduce cost, validate products, coordinate tooling estimates with suppliers, ensure safety/compliance with certifying bodies, identify risks and develop schedules in line with the master project plan, and apply best practices in mechanical design engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in a related field
- Experience with CAD software
- Experience with FEA Analysis
- Experience with CFD Analysis
- Experience in Statistical Analysis
