Job Summary

Lead the development of new stretch film products and formulations from concept through commercialization, designing production-scale trials to evaluate materials, additives, and film structures. Optimize film performance characteristics including load retention, puncture resistance, tear resistance, and downgauging opportunities while assessing metallocene, polyethylene, and recycled content technologies. Develop and implement testing protocols to assess quality, analyze trial data for product improvements, and conduct benchmarking studies against competitive products. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful scale-up, troubleshoot processing issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost efficiency. Participate in customer visits to support business growth and assist in resolving performance-related complaints. Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and cost reduction, including intellectual property development where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance

Desired Qualifications
