Job Summary
Design and develop complex plastic molded sub-assemblies, components, and packaging, creating CAD layouts, detail drawings, and BOMs to support new product development. Implement design changes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost while assessing material, tooling, and automation selections. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, develop SOPs, and ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and safety standards. Lead small project sections or conduct proof of concept experiments as needed. Requires three years of product design experience, strong English communication skills, and A customer experience preference.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Product Design (PD) roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of engineering theories, design principles, and practices
- Strong knowledge of design evaluation techniques
- Strong knowledge of various manufacturing techniques
- Strong English communication skills
