Job Summary
Lead and execute category initiatives across India to deliver cost savings, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation for Electrical category products including PCBA, cable harnesses, and power supplies. Develop and drive 3–5 year sourcing strategies aligned with APAC direction while identifying local suppliers to support business growth. Conduct spend analysis, manage RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiate contracts to ensure supply continuity and performance improvements. Partner with Global Category Managers and Engineering teams to align sourcing impact with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of procurement/sourcing experience in a matrixed organization
- Experience managing suppliers across Electrical categories, including PCBAs, cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, power supplies, motors, or OEM electrical products
- Experience managing EMS suppliers; prior experience working within EMS (Tier 1 and 2)
- Strong understanding of contract manufacturing cost structures
- Experience working with or developing suppliers in India and APAC regions
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex organization
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and make sound decisions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing EMS suppliers; prior experience working within EMS (Tier 1 and 2) preferred
