Job Summary
Manage supplier relationships to negotiate price and supply conditions while optimizing commercial terms and maintaining SAP pricing and forecasting data. Develop market understanding for raw materials and services to anticipate significant changes, utilizing Power BI analytics for cost visibility. Identify and qualify new suppliers, including site visits to assess operational, EHS, and quality standards, while partnering on sourcing opportunities and cost-effective solutions. Prepare long-term sourcing strategies to support the Long Range Plan and maintain volume and price forecasts for the Annual Operating Plan. Monitor quality consistency via the Supplier Care System to resolve issues with Process Technology, R&D, and Manufacturing. Collaborate regionally and globally to identify purchasing synergies and ensure business continuity through Management of Change tracking. Demonstrate best practices in vendor selection, tendering, and contract implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Math, Chemistry or Supply Chain
- Demonstrated strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills with relevant or related experience
- Procurement or directly relevant sales/commercial experience
