Sr. Procurement Specialist

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end procurement for critical OPEX and CAPEX spend, including engineering, construction, field services, and project materials. Develop and issue RFPs, bid packages, and purchase orders while negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with cross-functional stakeholders. Manage strategic supplier relationships through audits, KPI monitoring, and contract integrity checks. Analyze total cost of ownership to identify savings opportunities and generate performance reports for management. Utilize SAP and Ariba systems to track spend, manage POs, and support inventory counts. Resolve invoice discrepancies and delivery issues to ensure timely project execution. Contribute to annual budget planning and cost forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
- Experience supporting OPEX and CAPEX procurement for capital projects
- Experience supporting facility support
- Experience supporting construction services
- Experience supporting field services
- Experience supporting project materials
- Advanced negotiation and supplier management skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and regulatory compliance
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to cost, quality, and risk
- Effective communicator, capable of cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable speaking in front of audiences, including Executive Leadership Team
- Sound commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing, schedule impacts, and business needs
- Strong understanding of procurement workflows from sourcing and award through contracting, execution, fulfillment, delivery, and closeout
- Ability to manage multiple procurement workflows, project priorities, and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment
