Job Summary
Senior-level procurement leadership role leading a team of Operational Buyers, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of aerospace materials and services, owning buyer KPI development and performance management, driving supplier performance improvement, enforcing standard work and procurement process discipline, and aligning POs with contracts, inventory targets, and cost objectives. The role collaborates with Supply Chain, Operations, and suppliers to maintain continuity of supply, improve performance, and uphold AS9100 quality and regulatory compliance. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent aerospace experience with 7+ years) and 1+ year of people leadership, with domestic travel up to 25% and US Person ITAR eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant aerospace industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of relevant business experience, including 3+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Production Management within the aerospace industry
- 1+ years of experience managing and leading people
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
- U.S. Person, as defined by ITAR regulations, to comply with export control requirements
