Job Summary
Senior-level procurement accounting specialist responsible for overseeing procurement accounting activities, coding Purchase Orders to GL accounts, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting Concur expense reporting and financial reporting, collaborating with Procurement/Finance/AP, guiding TWA workflows, maintaining procurement records, drafting procurement and travel policies, supporting audits, and providing cross-functional support to align expenses with budgets and forecasts. Key skills include GL, AP/AR, PO processes, audit support, travel and procurement policy development, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint; bilingual English/Spanish is noted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivables processes
- Understanding of Purchase Orders, expense classification, and proper accounting treatment
- Experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets accounting
- Proven ability to handle internal, external, and regulatory audit requests
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
- Advanced analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work authorization to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship
