Job Summary
Sr Process Engineer at Mohawk Industries responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality production. Lead process improvements, identify bottlenecks, coordinate tooling and equipment needs for new product implementation, collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance, provide technical guidance, and perform high-quality data analyses. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience (Lean/Six-Sigma desirable); capable of cross-functional collaboration and supporting after-action reviews to share lessons learned; may require flexible scheduling and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible schedule and ability to work on a high-traffic manufacturing floor
Desired Qualifications
- Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications desirable
- 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
