Job Summary
As a Sr Principal Systems/Software Engineer, you will design end-to-end product architecture for OSS domains (Fault Management, Performance Monitoring, Service Quality Management), translate business goals into technical specs, architect data platforms for large-scale network telemetry, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure security, scalability, and performance. You will partner with Product Managers, UX, QA, and R&D; ensure telecom standards (TM Forum/eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs) are followed; work with cloud-native stacks (Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Cassandra, Pinot) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch). The role demands strong technical leadership, mentoring, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additional focus areas include microservices/SoA architectures, DevOps practices, and designing scalable, automated remediation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Overall, 12+ Years of industry experience; Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant skills.
