Job Summary
Sr Principal Systems Engineer (Integration) based in Colorado Springs, CO, responsible for integrating JEMINI Lab test suites, assisting software teams with issue resolution, developing configurations and scripts for testing and prototyping, analyzing message data, and contributing to system specifications and documentation. Requires DoD 8140 IAT Level II+ certification, active Secret clearance, Linux and scripting proficiency (Bash, Python), automation tooling (e.g., Ansible), DoD integration experience, and a willingness to travel ~10%. On-site role with no remote options. Primary salary range $129,300–$193,600 with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related field from an accredited university and 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree (preferred) with 6+ years; or PhD with 4+ years
- Current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher at time of application
- Current in-scope DoD-issued Secret clearance at time of application
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
- Extremely proficient in Linux and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting and test automation experience
- Familiarity with virtualized environments and software testing
- Experience with Ansible or other automation tools
- Experience integrating system components within a test environment
- Hands-on DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a STEM field (preferred)
- Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
- Active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance
- Proficiency with Linux and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experience with Ansible or other automation tools
- Experience integrating system components in a test environment
- Knowledge of DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering (highly preferred)
- CSEP/OCSMP certifications (preferred)
- Ability to travel ~10% for business needs
- Strong troubleshooting and automation scripting skills
- Experience with virtualization and containerized environments
- Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting (plus)
- U.S. Citizenship required for government-clearance roles
