Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Job Summary
Liaison for assigned programs and supply chain management functions, representing Northrop Grumman in Program Management Reviews and leadership briefings. Oversee material program planning and execution across all phases, aggregate demand requirements, and analyze supply/demand positions using MRP tools. Mitigate program risks regarding material availability and obsolescence while maintaining program line of balance and ensuring supplier deliveries align with production schedules. Develop supply chain strategies including secondary sources and safety stocks, manage vendor assessments, and act as a Subject Matter Expert on month-end material forecasts and ETC deliverables. Provide weekly status for forecasted sales and assist with billing issues to ensure accurate processing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning
- Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 12 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- SAP Experience or other ERP systems
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- This position will be located onsite in Sykesville, MD
- This position will be onsite with consideration for a hybrid option
- 10% of the Time
