Job Summary
Sr. Principal Structural Analyst role located in Melbourne, FL, onsite with no remote work. Proficiency in FEM/FEA (NASTRAN, ANSYS) and solid mechanics, fatigue and damage tolerance, with experience in composite materials and CAD. Strong knowledge of classical structural analysis techniques, ability to attend or present at internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and milestone reviews. Role may be filled as SR Principal Engineer (Level 4) or Staff Engineer (Level 5) based on qualifications. Travel approximately 10% and relocation assistance may be available. Must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced, diverse, collaborative engineering environment and able to work with minimal direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 8 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment OR a Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment.
- Active In-Scope DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Active In-Scope DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Supplier Management Team (SMT) experience.
