Sr Principal Software Engineer - Finance Technology Transformation Lead

Job Summary
Lead Data Product Development and drive a strategic Finance transformation roadmap within Corporate Technology. Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to build scalable data solutions, define data product requirements (data sources, integration, user interfaces), and develop metrics/KPIs to measure transformation success. Influence senior leadership, present complex ideas clearly, and guide strategic decisions using deep knowledge of finance, P&A, and allocations. Oversee pilot projects to test new technologies and methodologies, and provide expert guidance on financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to support allocation strategy. Build strong relationships across the organization to gain support for transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in software engineering
- Experience leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Proven experience in finance and P&A within a technology-driven environment
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Experience in leading transformation projects and managing change within an organization
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
