Job Summary
Sr Principal Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and troubleshooting software for databases with a focus on parallel and distributed query processing. Lead development of mid-to-large projects in traditional RDBMS and new areas such as vector search, AI, data lake, and autonomous computing. Create performance benchmarks (micro and scale-out) and collaborate with performance engineering to identify and address bottlenecks. Leverage AI models to streamline processes and boost developer productivity. Provide leadership and expertise in developing new products, services, and processes, and justify major changes to existing offerings. Requires BS or MS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
