Job Summary
Senior Principal Project Management role located in Palmdale, California. This on-site position oversees the A/C Delivery IPT, manages an integrated portfolio schedule, facilitates leadership reviews, and coordinates action items, reports, and trending data. Responsibilities include supporting EV/cost and schedule performance, assisting with business-management meetings, and coordinating with Directors and PMs across functional groups. The role requires strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders, experience in a matrix environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A Secret security clearance (or higher) is required to start and maintain SAP/PAR clearance as determined by business needs. Travel is expected (10%), and relocation is not a factor for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ experience in project management, OR Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience in project management
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
- A current active US Government Secret security clearance or higher is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP/PAR clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
