Job Summary

Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as the liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management. Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports while assessing issues to develop resolutions meeting productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and intervene with project managers, line managers, and clients to solve problems. Support integrated product teams in identifying Government Information and Property requirements, developing solutions, and obtaining joint agreements. Act as the focal point for joint Government/NG meetings and uphold the Giver/Receiver governance process. Maintain actionable metrics for Giver/Receivers and represent the organization on specific projects with frequent internal and external contacts. Work a 9/80 schedule (nine-hour days Monday through Thursday with every other Friday off).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years' experience; PhD and 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
  • U.S. citizen
  • active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period
  • At least 4 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers
  • 9/80 work schedule availability
  • Ability to go on Hill Air Force base to meet with Government and team personnel
  • Ability to uphold the Giver/Receiver governance process and procedures
  • Maintain and develop actionable metrics for Giver/Receivers

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations
  • Executive presence and comfort in communications at that level
  • Experience with establishing Strategy, Roadmap, Vision artifacts
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP, Windows software packages, Atlassian Tool Suite, and other electronic databases
  • Proficient in Agile Development
  • 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
  • A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Giver/Receiver Web Tool and Business Management Scheduling tools
  • Experience working with the government with property, facilities, data, and or software
