Job Summary
Coordinate with internal and external customers to develop engineering execution plans and lead material scientists in creating test plans for solid rocket motors. Assemble cross-functional hardware teams to coordinate material and process choices while ensuring compliance with customer Parts, Materials, and Process requirements. Lead the Sentinel Aging and Surveillance program, conduct deliverable reviews, and manage problem and failure investigations. Perform presentations to internal and external stakeholders and coordinate static test objectives with hardware teams. This role works a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and requires a DoD Secret security clearance.

- Bachelor's degree (STEM)
- 8 years of professional experience
- Master's degree
- 6 years of professional experience
- PhD
- 4 years of professional experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to work with energetic materials as a U. S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, firearms and explosives expert
- Minimum of 5 years in solid rocket motor design / manufacturing
- Strong experience in parts, materials or processes
- U.S. Citizenship

- Demonstrated flexibility in managing technical solutions given changing customer requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations
- Demonstrated team leadership skills - leader of significant technical projects or investigations and management of multiple program tasks to schedule and budget
- Experience with the proposal process
- Knowledge and experience in System Engineering, or PM&P tools and disciplines
