Job Summary

Prepare and coordinate the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives, ensuring horizontal and vertical integration across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality groups. Track plans and schedules while performing risk analysis to identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances for critical intervention. This role requires a Secret clearance and on-site presence in Palmdale, CA, with up to 25% travel.

  • Up to 25% travel or location in El Segundo, CA or San Diego, CA requiring up to 50% travel
  • No virtual or telecommute working options
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields
  • Master's degree with 6 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields
  • 12 years of applicable work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
  • Active Government Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Project including, but not limited to, the detail development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in material cost management
  • Strong proficiency with EVM
  • Experience with SAP and/or COBRA
