Candidate should have strong experience with servo and DC motor technology, feedback control, S/W tools such as Matlab/Simulink and 3D modeling (Creo/Pro/Engineer), and a broad background in manufacturability and hardware integration. The role emphasizes deconstructing tasks into work packages, generating free body diagrams, GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and involvement in hardware builds, integration, tuning, and verification within a DoD-focused program. The position is onsite in Tucson, AZ, with eligibility for DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
