Sr. Principal EO Signal Image Processing Engineer - 4
$135,000–$202,600 year
On-siteChandler, Arizona, United States
Job Summary
Design, develop, and verify image processing algorithms and high-fidelity simulation tools for electro-optical seeker development and flight test support. Lead complex modeling and simulation efforts, coordinate team members to ensure timely algorithm delivery, and conduct trade studies to assess performance robustness. Apply advanced physics concepts to create realistic models of seeker hardware and flight environments, while developing and optimizing analysis tools in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for high-performance computing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute modeling activities, correlate simulation predictions with test data, and lead root cause analysis. Provide technical leadership through briefings to stakeholders and mentor junior engineers on coding standards and verification practices.
