Job Summary
Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials. Ensure compliance with quality standards through collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams. Perform inspections, testing, and statistical analysis to ensure product specifications are met. Initiate Corrective Action Plans and lead Continuous Improvement efforts to reduce defects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, with significant engineering experience in quality assurance or manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
- Masters Degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience
- SAP and MRP experience
- Experience investigating failures
- Experience with Data Analytics and/or Statistical Analysis methods and techniques
- Experience working in a manufacturing and/or mechanical environment
- Root Cause Corrective Actions experience
- Experience with QMS
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- US Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management System and AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Green/Black Belt Certified in Lean Six-sigma
- Certified auditor
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Minitab or equivalent tools for statistical analysis
- Experience in modern skillsets such as Artificial Intelligence, SQL, Power BI to aid in data analysis and data visualization
- Active Secret Clearance
