Job Summary
Lead cross-functional design and integration of avionics power systems, redundancy strategies, and harness/test-stand development for advanced aerospace platforms. Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks while applying schematic interpretation to troubleshoot in the lab and deliver robust solutions. Work with testers to assist in processes and design electrical equipment for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline
- 8 years of related professional/military experience
- Master's degree
- 6 years of related professional/military experience
- Ph.D.
- 4 years of related professional/military experience
- Background in power distribution and redundancy
- Active US Government Top Secret clearance
- Background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and/or test-stand block diagrams
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Teamcenter/CPLM
- Experience in designing or architecting avionics or aerospace electrical systems, including flight control computers, power systems, sensors, and communication systems
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts to both Government and corporate leadership
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or similar
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
