Job Summary
The Senior Principal Contract Administrator will report to the ANS OU Contract Manager and provide contracts support for various contracts, acting as a key focal point on contract matters. Responsibilities include leading responses to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs), ensuring proposals are responsive to customer requirements, coordinating responses to requests for information, developing negotiation strategies, maintaining relationships with customers, overseeing contract performance, advising program teams on contractual rights, and researching contract issues. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in contract administration, proposal development, and negotiations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional experience OR a Master's degree with 6 years of related professional experience
- Experience with FAR/DFARS
- Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc.
- Experience working with proposal development and negotiations
- U.S. Citizenship required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret level security clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in U.S. Government Department of War contract administration & management
- Experience working independently and collaborating with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Experience briefing internal and external customers
- Experience handling multiple tasks concurrently
- Experience with the SAP Sales & Distribution Module
- Current, active DoW Secret level security clearance
