Job Summary
Sr. Principal Communications/Co-site Electronics Engineer responsible for leading the development and integration of RF communications subsystems, performing requirements derivation and maturation, conducting Computational Electromagnetic antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis, executing trade studies and risk mitigation plans, managing supplier documentation and statements of work, coordinating with program stakeholders, and conducting aircraft ground and flight tests to validate subsystem requirements; requires active security clearance, STEM degree (Master’s preferred), and ability to obtain/maintain necessary clearances; relocation assistance may be available; Melbourne, FL with no hybrid/remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience; active US Government Secret Clearance (with potential for Top Secret) and ability to obtain/maintain necessary clearances; knowledge of electromagnetics RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands); experience in CEM antenna analysis; ability to design, integrate, test, install, operate LOS/BLOS systems; cryptographic implementations; ability to perform risk analysis and formal testing; strong communication and leadership skills; U.S. citizenship.
