Job Summary
Senior-level, hybrid-structured role leading pre-sales architectural engagements for networking and AI/ML infrastructure within HPE’s global sales organization. Responsibilities include articulating end-to-end Networking Infrastructure solution architectures, guiding Sales Engineers and partners, designing hyperscale network solutions, delivering live demos and PoCs, translating business objectives to technical requirements, collaborating with product management, and coordinating with integrators and key partners. Must demonstrate deep expertise in networking, data-center fabrics, API-driven tooling, and the ability to influence senior technical decision-makers. Significant travel (up to ~50%) and strong business acumen are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications
- 12+ years of technical experience in Network Infrastructure Design with a focus on technical consulting and solutions selling
- 5+ Industry standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience expected
- Hands-on experience with multiple Networking products, solutions, tools, or services
- Ability to design and develop a playbook for demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services
- Ability to deliver live demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services to customers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Professional with strong business acumen and general management guidance abilities
- Ability to build relationships with technical decision makers and C-level executives in client organizations
- Experience preparing RFP/Tender response documents like compliance to the RFP, bill of materials, commercial/pricing, and solution documents to drive a successful response
- Open Networking switch hardware (white box) and related software (SONiC, Cumulus, BigSwitch etc.)
- Expert level knowledge about architecture and benefits of ACX, MX, PTX, QFX Series routers or equivalent competitor products
- Networking and cloud/AI networking ecosystems
- Programming - exposure and familiarity with API's, Postman, JSON, Python, etc.
