Job Summary
Senior-level lead architect role focusing on advising and shaping infrastructure strategy across private/public cloud, on-prem, and multi-region deployments. Responsibilities include guiding cloud-enabled solutions, aligning requirements to technical roadmaps, collaborating with IP Product management and engineering stakeholders, designing heterogeneous hybrid cloud architectures that meet latency, availability, disaster recovery, and data residency requirements, ensuring cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (PCI, etc.), and communicating the business value of architectural options to executives. Candidate should demonstrate effective cross-functional leadership, strong customer focus, and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with at least 5 years in a senior or principal role focused on cloud and infrastructure architecture
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure and service offerings of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong track record delivering highly resilient multi-region, hybrid cloud architectures with on-prem and multi-cloud footprints
- Deep understanding of platform/control planes, compute (virtualization, containers), networking, data integration patterns, data center operations, and global connectivity
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence without direct authority
- Knowledge of data security and IT risk management principles and industry controls (PCI, SOC, etc)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP preferred
