Senior Principal Architect leads the architecture practice, shaping enterprise standards, governance, and patterns across a 20–30-person architect team. Defines enterprise principles, reference architectures, and ADRs; drives architecture governance to balance rigor with delivery; ensures alignment with regulatory obligations and strategic technology investments; mentors architects, elevates capability, and communicates with group leadership to enable consistent, reusable solutions. Requires strong executive communication, risk/technical debt management, and deep expertise in cloud, data, and regulatory environments, plus familiarity with Architecture governance tools (e.g., LeanIX, Ardoq, Orbus) and low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate).
