Job Summary
Conduct customer technical engagement, solution validation, and project implementation for MSC Nastran across automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors. Deliver software demonstrations, Proof of Concept studies, and benchmark evaluations while providing day-to-day support including model setup, mesh generation, solver configuration, and result interpretation. Lead user enablement through training, workshops, and best-practice sharing to enhance simulation capabilities. Collaborate with sales, R&D, and CAE product teams to support multi-software simulation solutions and develop technical documentation and industry use cases. Requires 15+ years in CAE simulation and structural analysis with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Vehicle Engineering, Materials Science, New Energy Engineering, or related disciplines
- 15+ years of experience in CAE simulation, industrial software technical support, or engineering analysis
- Solid understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) principles and simulation methodologies
- Hands-on experience with MSC Nastran and structural simulation workflows
- Familiarity with linear static, modal, buckling, nonlinear, optimization, topology optimization, and multiphysics simulations
- Ability to independently perform model preparation, mesh generation, material definition, load and boundary condition setup, solver tuning, and results analysis
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support and project delivery
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, battery, aerospace, composites, semiconductor packaging, or related simulation projects
- Knowledge of Digimat, Marc, Dytran, Fatigue, or other CAE software solutions
- Understanding of composite material modeling, PLM integration, simulation process automation, or Python/PCL scripting
- Previous experience in customer-facing technical consulting, POC delivery, or pre-sales support
