Job Summary
Senior-level E&S Surplus Lines Underwriter for Primary & Excess Casualty with at least 5 years of underwriting experience. Role requires strong wholesale broker relationships in the Mid-Atlantic or Greater NY/New England area, and the ability to market to brokers about 20% of the time. Office-based in Manhattan, NYC with a schedule of 4 days in the office (3 days when one day is out for marketing). The ideal candidate will be a cohesive, professional contributor with a track record of stability (no job-hoppers) and participate in a competitive compensation package including base pay, bonus, and strong 401(k) and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of surplus lines excess or primary casualty underwriting experience
- Strong wholesale broker relationships in the Mid-Atlantic or Greater NY/New England area
- Able to market to brokers 20% of the time
