Job Summary
Senior Pricing Analyst in Columbus (hybrid) focused on leading pricing strategy for legal services. Responsibilities include developing and executing creative pricing strategies and client fee arrangements to improve profitability, leveraging historical matter data to identify pricing and efficiency improvements, designing matter budgets, fee proposals, and alternative fee arrangements in response to client needs and RFPs, using pricing technologies to automate analyses, conducting post-matter financial reviews, maintaining pricing tools and databases, and training attorneys and staff on pricing best practices. Requires collaboration with partners, practice groups, and pricing teams, deep understanding of legal services pricing and profitability drivers, and ability to communicate complex financial information to partners, attorneys, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Eight years of analysis experience including at least five years in legal pricing or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- PowerBI, SQL, and Aderant experience preferred
- Service-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when needed
