Job Summary
Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy for Forrester’s technology audience. Responsibilities include market and buyer insights research, defining market opportunities, segmentation, and requirements; developing competitive positioning, messaging, and launch plans; leading product naming and go-to-market initiatives; creating buyer personas and mapping buyer journeys; providing market insights to support demand campaigns and content; collaborating with cross-functional teams (research, product, marketing, sales, consulting, events); developing customer references and enablement content; driving product retention and upsell/cross-sell strategies; managing high-impact assets in the global sales content system; and contributing to events experience to highlight audience-relevant offerings. Required experience includes 5–10 years in portfolio/product marketing, strong writing/communication, domain understanding across marketing/sales/product/digital/tech, ability to simplify complex concepts, comfort marketing tangible/intangible products, openness to AI-driven workflows, independence, and solid project-management and collaboration skills. Salary range noted as base salary range: $106,000 - $172,000, exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five to ten years’ experience in portfolio or product marketing
- Strong writing and clear communication skills
- Domain understanding of marketing, sales, product, digital, and technology functions
- Ability to distill complex concepts into visuals/stories
- Comfort in marketing tangible and intangible products
- Willingness to deploy and use AI tools to improve workflows
- High self-direction and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with data visualization considered a plus
