Job Summary
Conduct blameless post-mortems and use SLIs/SLOs to measure and improve system health. Implement comprehensive logging, tracing, and metrics using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to provide deep insights into system behavior. Act as a technical lead, guiding junior engineers and evangelizing best practices for cloud-native development across the organization. Apply SRE principles, including automation and error budgets, to ensure the platform remains resilient and reduces toil. Assist engineering teams in deploying, scaling, and monitoring services with minimal friction.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles
- Deep proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Rust for building platform tooling
- Mastery of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem (Helm, Istio, etc.)
- A 'product-first' approach to infrastructure; you care as much about the developer experience as you do about uptime
