Job Summary
Sr Pipeline Technician role on the largest interstate natural gas pipeline system in the United States. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of technical systems across a geographic area, including controls (PLC, HMI, MCC, voltage/power distribution, pneumatic devices), gas measurement equipment (meters, control valves, relief valves, regulators; monitoring gas quality), corrosion protection, mechanical systems, LNG operations, underground storage, compressor stations, pigging operations, and operating various heavy equipment (backhoes, trucks, excavators, skid loaders). Welding components require qualification in API 1104 and ASME standards; NACE CP1 Tester certification is preferred. Endorsements for hazmat and LNG transportation are available. The role emphasizes a skill-based pay structure and flexible skill development within a multidisciplinary pipeline environment.
