Sr. Physician Compensation Administrator

Job Summary

Construct and administer complex physician compensation models, including employment, PSA, and hospital-based services agreements, ensuring compliance with Medicare fraud statutes, Stark regulations, and IRS requirements. Aggregate data to perform financial analysis for decision-making and obtain Fair Market Value opinions from external consulting firms. Lead training program development, maintain essential documentation for all contracts, and serve as a subject matter expert for clinical service lines, Human Resources, and Finance. Mentor new employees and present best practices on provider compensation trends to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or business
  • Two years of experience working with physicians and/or in physician contracts, with a focus on physician and provider compensation
  • Five years' experience working in healthcare, preferably for a hospital or health system

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in healthcare related field or business
  • Previous experience working with Physicians
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-volume, high-level and complex agreements and relationships with leadership teams with minimal oversight
