Job Summary
Support the VP of Philanthropy with high-level proposals, presentations, and tailored donor correspondence for major gift meetings, Board engagement, and Philanthropy Committee meetings. Triage donor inquiries to ensure prompt resolution and coordinate stewardship efforts including thank you notes, follow-ups, and event invitations. Assist with planning and executing events such as luncheons and dinners, managing RSVPs, recruiting volunteers, and providing on-site support. Track and manage donor data in the CRM, prepare acknowledgment letters, and act as a liaison with the Accounting Team for gift documentation. Coordinate timelines for campaigns, manage weekly team meeting agendas, process expense reports, and assess office procedures for efficiency. This role requires occasional evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Six (6) years in nonprofit fundraising, communications, or a related field
- Working knowledge of fundraising and donor relations principles
- Strong project-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Sound judgment in handling sensitive donor information confidentially
- Detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding customer service for donor-facing work
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- CRM experience
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
