Job Summary
The Sr Performance Gear Mechanical Innovation Engineer will manage the Performance Gear product innovation, including concepts, prototyping, and fabrication of samples. Responsibilities include leading early innovations using a consumer-first approach, exploring new materials, conducting research in mechanical systems, and collaborating with product development and suppliers. Applicants must possess a portfolio demonstrating innovation in high-volume manufactured products and have proficiency in Solidworks, Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office. A Mechanical Engineering degree and extensive experience in consumer product design and mechanical design are required.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- 5+ years of consumer product design experience
- Minimum 8 years of related experience focusing on Golf, Sporting Goods Equipment, or CPG
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Golf or Sporting Goods Industry experience
- 2D and 3D design skills
- Prototyping skills
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS or Rhino
- Technical illustration and sketching proficiency
