Job Summary
Sr. Performance Excellence Specialist will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant performance through managing technical documentation, developing process control strategies, and executing loss-elimination opportunities. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate documents, apply continuous improvement initiatives, and support FSQA activities; assists in training system development and coaches teams on best practices for operational excellence. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining manuals, SOPs, checklists, forms, and process diagrams; documenting current processes with SMEs; overseeing Plant Technical Change Management; linking continuous improvement with short- and long-term strategic initiatives; developing control strategies, analyzing line data, leading root cause problem solving, facilitating team meetings, and administering plant training via the Alchemy system; maintaining document standardization and sharing improvements across functions and plants; participating in CI activities and gaining experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; supporting food safety and quality programs; and engaging in company values and growth opportunities. Education requirement is an Associate degree with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, plus Lean and/or Six Sigma certification, and supervisory experience.
