Job Summary
Sr. Payroll Compliance Analyst oversees regulatory and business compliance practices, partnering with Payroll Manager to sustain a comprehensive payroll compliance operations program. Drives auditing and oversight activities, collaborates with stakeholders and technology partners, and supports the design, implementation, and interpretation of process improvements. Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise for payroll practices, nurturing stakeholder partnerships, extracting and operationalizing system and behavioral updates with Legal, TR Compliance, HR Systems, IPA, and other partners, coaching pay and time performers during testing, analyzing metrics to monitor KPIs/OKRs, tracking regulatory changes and updating knowledge bases and SOPs, and escalating complex matters as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5-10 years of professional experience, strong writing and communication, ability to manage multiple tasks, and advanced analytical and reporting skills; travel up to 10% and some multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
- 6+ years’ experience with large company, working directly in a Payroll environment
- Strong coordination skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English; multilingual a plus
- Ability to manage multiple, often complex, tasks with strong time management
- Advanced technical capability producing complex reporting and dashboards for stakeholders
- Experience with ITSM or related inquiry management tools
- Experience with RPA, AI or other advanced technical process capability desired
- Occasional travel ~10%
- Standard office environment familiarity
