Job Summary
Sr. Payroll Analyst responsible for full-cycle payroll processing for U.S. and/or Canadian employee populations using Dayforce, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations; develop, reconcile, and report payroll data; manage multi-state tax registrations and tax reconciliations; collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and IT to implement improvements; lead monthly/quarterly/year-end payroll activities (W-2/T-4), and configure Dayforce GL settings for proper payroll accounting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field strongly preferred
- 4–7 years of hands-on, full-cycle payroll experience
- At least two years of experience using Dayforce payroll system
- Proven ability to identify issues and drive effective, scalable solutions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a team or project
- Advanced analytical skills
- Deep understanding of U.S. and/or payroll laws and regulations (FLSA, overtime, deductions)
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
