Sr Partner, Sourcing (6-8 Month Contract)

Job Summary
Execute sourcing strategies for high-value engagements, leading RFx/competitive bid processes and negotiating pricing and contract terms to deliver savings. Conduct market research, analyze vendor capabilities, and establish category strategies while collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs. Manage the contract lifecycle in partnership with Legal Services, resolving discrepancies, renewing agreements, and mitigating organizational risk across the vendor lifecycle. Liaise with external vendor partners, present sourcing activities and cost savings to senior executives, and independently facilitate information gathering sessions to ensure deliverables meet established timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Significant sourcing/procurement experience
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes
- Sourcing strategies
- Contract management principles
- Claims Sourcing experience in Insurance, Claims, Professional Services, Financial Institutions, outsourcing, and managed services
- Technology Sourcing experience in cloud computing, software, data, AI, and hosting
- Indirect Sourcing experience supporting Human Resources, Professional Services, Corporate Services, Finance, and Marketing
- 7-10 years' experience in a similar role within a corporate/business environment
- Direct experience in negotiating and drafting agreements
- Proficiency in the development of executive level presentation materials
- High degree of proficiency with English
- Completion of post-secondary education (university degree or public college diploma)
- French language proficiency (written and verbal)

- CSCMP designation
- Experience using a variety of procurement tools including dynamic sourcing tools, auctions, spend analytics, procure-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, vendor management, and third-party risk management
